Preparing Your House For Market

In the old days, the real estate agent did the three P's of home marketing. Put a sign in the yard, put it in the MLS, and pray for a buyer.

With so many homes for buyers to consider in today's market, we can't emphasize enough the need to prepare the home for market, before it is shown. As part of our pre-marketing services, we carefully inspect the home and make suggestions that will benefit our seller clientele by way of a higher sales price and a quicker closing.

Examples of our suggestions are un-cluttering the closets to make them look bigger, pruning the shrubbery to enhance curb appeal, washing the windows, etc... In some cases we recommend having a home inspector evaluate the home so that there won't be any surprises when the buyer does an inspection right before closing. We are pleased to orchestrate these items for you.

For many years we have compiled our "Vendor List" — a list of various individuals and companies you can hire to do the things necessary to prepare your home for the market. We will even coordinate all these items if you like. Your house only has one chance to make a good first impression, let the experts at Tony Hall & Associates show you how to make this happen!
